Where can I download Time0?
Time0 is available on the Apple App Store for iOS devices, Google Play Store for Android devices, and Mac App Store for macOS. We're working on Windows and Linux versions for future release.
Do I need an internet connection?
No, Time0 works completely offline once downloaded. All your data is processed and stored locally on your device. You only need an internet connection for the initial download from the app store.
Is there a trial version?
Currently, Time0 doesn't offer a trial version. However, at $1.99, we believe it offers exceptional value for professional project planning. All app stores offer refund policies if the app doesn't meet your needs.

Are there any recurring fees?
No, Time0 is a one-time purchase. You pay $1.99 once and own the app forever. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no additional features to purchase.
Do I have to pay again for updates?
No, all updates, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements are included in your one-time purchase. We believe in providing long-term value for your investment.
Can I use Time0 on multiple devices?
Yes, once purchased, you can install Time0 on any device linked to your app store account. On iOS, this includes all your iPhones and iPads. On Android, all devices using your Google account. The Mac version works on all your Macs signed into your Apple ID.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled by the respective app stores according to their policies. Apple App Store and Google Play Store typically allow refunds within a certain timeframe if you're not satisfied with your purchase.

Privacy & Security

Does Time0 collect my data?
No, Time0 does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't have servers that store user data, we don't use analytics that track your usage, and we don't require any personal information to use the app. Your projects, schedules, and all planning data remain 100% private and under your control.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage area. When you export to HTML/PDF or save project files, those are saved to your device's file system in the location you choose. Nothing is ever sent to external servers.
What about GDPR compliance?
Since Time0 doesn't collect, process, or store any personal data on servers, GDPR requirements are inherently met. We don't track users, don't use cookies for tracking, and don't share any data with third parties because we simply don't have access to your data.
Can anyone else see my projects?
No, your projects are completely private. Since all data stays on your device and we don't have user accounts or cloud sync, there's no way for anyone else to access your projects unless they have physical access to your device.
What happens if I delete the app?
If you delete the Time0 app, all your data stored within the app will be permanently deleted. We recommend regularly exporting important projects to HTML/PDF or JSON format as a backup. Since we don't store data on servers, we cannot recover lost data.

What is zero-based time planning?
Zero-based time planning is our core philosophy inspired by zero-based budgeting. Instead of loosely estimating time, you start from zero and intentionally assign every hour of your project timeline to specific tasks. This ensures complete visibility of where time is allocated and prevents time from being wasted or forgotten.
How does auto-scheduling work?
Our smart auto-scheduling engine takes your work items and automatically distributes them across your project timeline. It considers factors like task priorities, dependencies, available hours per day, and can use different strategies like weekend prioritization or workload balancing. You can always manually adjust the schedule afterward.
Can I export my schedules?
Yes, you can export your schedules to PDF format for sharing with clients or team members. The HTML/PDF export creates a professional-looking document with your project timeline, work items, and allocated hours. You can also save your project configurations as JSON for backup or sharing.
What languages are supported?
Time0 supports 14 languages: English, Spanish (Español), French (Français), German (Deutsch), Dutch (Nederlands), Italian (Italiano), Portuguese (Português), Russian (Русский), Polish (Polski), Swedish (Svenska), Turkish (Türkçe), Korean (한국어), Japanese (日本語), and Chinese (中文). You can switch languages at any time in the settings, and the entire interface will update to your selected language.
Can I track billable hours and project value?
Yes, Time0 includes hourly rate settings for each project. It automatically calculates the total project value based on your allocated hours and rate. You can see statistics for planned hours, allocated hours, and total project value in real-time.
What currencies are supported for billing?
Time0 supports 26 currencies for project billing including USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), JPY (¥), CAD (C$), AUD (A$), CHF, CNY (¥), KRW (₩), INR (₹), BRL (R$), MXN ($), RUB (₽), SEK (kr), NOK (kr), DKK (kr), PLN (zł), TRY (₺), ZAR (R), SGD (S$), HKD (HK$), NZD (NZ$), AED (د.إ), SAR (﷼), and ILS (₪). You can select your preferred currency in the app settings.

Technical Questions

Which devices are supported?
Time0 is available for iOS (iPhone and iPad running iOS 12.0 or later), Android (devices running Android 5.0 or higher), and macOS (Mac computers running macOS 10.15 or later). Windows and Linux versions are in development.
How much storage space does Time0 use?
Time0 itself is very lightweight, typically using less than 50MB for the app. Your project data storage depends on how many projects and work items you create, but even hundreds of projects typically use less than 100MB of storage.
Can I sync data between devices?
Currently, Time0 doesn't offer automatic sync between devices since we don't use cloud servers. However, you can manually transfer projects between devices by exporting them as JSON files and importing them on another device. This keeps your data private while still allowing portability.
Can I backup my data?
Yes, we strongly recommend regular backups. You can export your projects as JSON files for complete data backup or as HTML/PDFs for archival purposes. These files can be stored wherever you choose - your device, cloud storage, or external drives.
Will Time0 work on tablets?
Yes, Time0 is optimized for both phones and tablets. On iPad and Android tablets, you'll enjoy a larger workspace that makes managing complex projects even easier.

Troubleshooting

My projects disappeared, what happened?
If your projects have disappeared, it's likely that the app's data was cleared or the app was reinstalled. Unfortunately, since we don't store data on servers, we cannot recover lost data. We recommend regularly exporting important projects as backups to prevent data loss.
The app isn't working properly, what should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Force close the app and restart it, 2) Check if there's an update available in your app store, 3) Restart your device, 4) If issues persist, contact support with details about your device model and OS version.
Auto-scheduling isn't working as expected
Make sure you've set up your project dates correctly and that you have work items with defined durations. Check that your daily hours setting is reasonable (e.g., 8 hours). If items aren't scheduling, verify they don't exceed the available time in your project timeline.
HTML/PDF export is failing
Ensure you have enough storage space on your device for the HTML/PDF file. Try exporting a smaller project first to test. If the issue persists, check that the app has necessary permissions to save files on your device.
The app crashes on startup
This is rare but can happen if the app's data becomes corrupted. Try: 1) Updating to the latest version, 2) Restarting your device, 3) If nothing works, you may need to reinstall the app (note: this will delete your data unless you've made backups).
